5-7 Points:
Haha, loser. You would hate pre-Vet school. Ironically, you would make an outstanding vet. But that’s life, and life isn’t fair.

Vets make a nice salary? Not compared with what they can make overseas, and the horrendous loan.
Which country are you referring to? Here in New Zealand, the loan is quite bearable and the salary is over $50,000 within the first three years. That’s pretty damn good. The average is $75,000 per year.
In the US, the loan is bigger but the salary is really good. That’s why people move there to be doctors and vets.
Generally, I don’t understand why anybody making over $50,000 a year by themselves would have anything to complain about. My mother has been working for 30 years, has two Masters Degrees, and makes about $30,000. That’s how it is for most people.
Persevere. Ignore the moneygrubbers and the gradechasers (many of whom will probably lose interest when they find they have to deal with reluctant clawed patients, disease, blood and guts). Find a few of the other people who are there for the right reasons and commune with them. If you are competing for limited places with people whose values you do not like, I suppose those are the rules of that game at present, but use that competition to prove that cooperation and empathy do not disadvantage you as a student or as a vet.
Thank you. I like you
Unfortunately, by the time those who are there for the wrong reasons realise it was a bad idea, the will have already gotten into Vet School in place of somebody else.
I was happy to finally find a couple nice vet students, and I renewed a tiny bit of my faith in humanity
